With 27,000 employees working out of 5,000 locations globally, and a huge opportunity to consistently monitor in-store task execution, beauty products retailer and distributor Sally Beauty adopted the Reflexis ONE™ platform. “It was very important for us to bring our bring our systems into the modern age,” explains Dave Hamilton, Director of Store Operations for the CosmoProf Division of Sally Beauty Holdings.
Previously, the company relied on manually intensive task, communications, and labor scheduling processes. Hamilton notes, “Our district managers would have to call or email stores to get information on how tasks were being completed, especially when it came to things like planograms. From a scheduling standpoint and workforce standpoint, everything was done on paper.”
The company needed a single platform for retail workforce management and retail task management, with a centralized document repository (that would replace an “outdated Box™ document repository”). It selected Reflexis Workforce Scheduler™, Real-Time Task Manager™ and the Q-Docs™ retail document management and storage system.
With Reflexis, Sally Beauty can now measure the in-store task completion rates of their corporate projects. Managers also can review the status of other tasks in the stores, such as price changes, and so on.
As Hamilton says: “It was critical that we have the ability to see into stores. And the key piece with our district managers is being able to give them real-time visibility, without having to visit every store to see what is happening.”
