Using Q-Walk for Crisis Communication
Most organizations are implementing emergency measures to ensure their customers and employees stay safe and healthy; but it can be hard to ensure these are executed correctly, especially as travel restrictions and shelter-in-place guidelines prevent region or district managers from conducting store visits. Q-Walk (formerly StoreWalk), a solution within the Reflexis ONE platform, allows you to develop audit questionnaires at the corporate level to be completed by field or store teams.
These surveys can be about any topic, and can be particularly useful during this time to quickly gather information across a chain of locations on cleanliness checks, vendor visits, and local shutdown measures. Corporate teams create store inspection and survey templates, ensuring consistent responses from field teams. Users can complete instances from a native mobile app and attach pictures from the store, allowing for real-time record keeping and visibility into the results. Appropriate follow up actions or notifications can then be launched automatically depending on the responses provided, with smart notifications to relevant users.
During this crisis, best practices include:
- Create a questionnaire regarding cleaning and maintenance practices and have stores submit responses on a regular cadence to determine if or where more attention is needed
- Utilize questionnaires to ascertain if any Human Resources or Loss Prevention issues are commonly occurring in the field
- Launch a questionnaire to quickly gather information on local ordinances in effect due to COVID-19 response
- Use attachment features to allow store managers to share photos of stores in areas that can’t be visited by management during the lockdown
