Responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic – Project Tagging

Reflexis Blog
To support our customers and community during this public health crisis, we are sharing strategies to manage operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. This blog series provides practical approaches to execute COVID-19 related policies, procedures, and processes; previous installments include Broadcast Messaging, Instant Messaging, Inspections, and Forms.
Organizing Crisis Communications with Project Tagging
In previous blogs, we discussed the most effective channels to communicate with your teams during this unprecedented time. However, it’s also important to ensure that crisis communications and activities are organized and accessible. Today, we will look at how to tag projects so your leaders on the frontlines can find what they are looking for faster.
Project tags allow you to group all crisis communications or projects and makes it easy for employees to filter for relevant information. Project Tagging uses a word to tag projects—for example, “BTS” for back-to-school activities or, in the current circumstances, “COVID19”.
Consider using a special tag for projects related to your COVID-19 response to ensure frontline staff can find the latest updates, policies, and procedures. Watch this Quick Gem for details.
How to Set Up Project Tags:
- Go to Project Type Setup; Under Project Properties, click YES for ‘Allow Project Tags?’
- Start using Tags during Project Creation
- Inform users about tags, which ones you are using, and how to Filter using tags
