Combined Solutions Will Enable Flawless Execution of Retail Strategy by In-Store Employees, Suppliers, and Third Party Service Providers
DEDHAM, MA–(Marketwire – November 8, 2007) – Reflexis Systems, the pioneer and leader in Retail Execution Management, today announced it has acquired Enfotrust Networks, a leading provider of vendor performance management and learning solutions for merchandisers, retailers, and manufacturers. The combined solutions will enable the flawless execution of retail strategy by in-store employees as well as suppliers and third-party service providers. Enfotrust will continue to operate as the Reflexis Customer Operations Group from its Kennesaw, GA location, which will also be the home of a new demonstration and training center where existing and prospective customers can interact with the latest solutions and technologies for attaining retail execution excellence.
“Getting the retail ecosystem working together is a critical step toward satisfying today’s consumer,” said Paula Rosenblum, Managing Partner, Retail Systems Research. “The combined Reflexis-Enfotrust solution is an important enabler to ensure customer expectations are met in the store in an efficient and cost-effective manner.”
“The incorporation of Enfotrust’s products and services into Reflexis should help bridge the gaps between strategic intent and actual execution,” said Rob Garf, Vice President and General Manager of Retail Strategies for AMR Research. “While Reflexis is one of the leaders in task management of store associates, this deal allows it to expand its products’ reach throughout the value network.”
“Retail execution excellence is no longer solely a function of performance by employees in the store. It also requires better upstream planning and integration of activities performed by third parties such as vendors, Marketing Service Organizations, and others,” said Prashanth Palakurthi, Reflexis founder and CEO. “With our acquisition of Enfotrust, retailers can now look to Reflexis to ensure the consistent execution of all tasks in the stores, whether they are performed by store associates, suppliers, or suppliers’ representatives.”
“By acquiring Enfotrust, Reflexis has extended the reach of its solutions and expanded the company’s operations into the mobility space,” said Gerald A. Poch, Senior Managing Director of FirstMark Capital and member of the Reflexis Board of Directors. “The management of Enfotrust has built a profitable company focused on customer satisfaction, a core Reflexis value.”
“Enfotrust’s vendor management and learning solutions are already being used by Reflexis customers for in-store execution to enhance the customer experience,” said Nicholas Steele, CEO of Enfotrust. “Together, we will help our customers bridge a larger footprint of the retail execution gap.”
Financial terms of the acquisition, which has already been completed, were not released.
