Reflexis Receives “Positive” Rating in Report on Retail Time and Labor Applications
DEDHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– January 08, 2007 –Reflexis Systems Inc., the pioneer and leader in Retail Execution Management, has received a “Positive” rating in a recent report released by Gartner, a leading industry research and analysis firm. In its MarketScope for Retail Time and Labor Applications, 2006 report, Gartner focused on 13 vendors that provide scheduling, time and attendance, and store task management software.
“Industry investment is expected to grow as Web-based solutions mature and leading retailers use technology-optimized workforces to improve store productivity,” the report says of the retail time and labor software market. The report also covers task management. “Store task management provides corporate visibility into store-level execution of tasks and enhances the design, planning, execution, and monitoring of such projects in stores. Task management will continue to drive the innovation of solutions and benefits reported by retailers as this market segment matures.” The report was written by Gale Daikoku and James Holincheck and published on Dec. 7, 2006.
“Gartner’s recognition is extremely rewarding, and we believe it confirms our commitment to helping our retail customers achieve their business goals,” said Murtaza Ghadyali, Vice President of Product Management for Reflexis. “Our customers commend us on the ease of deployment and subsequent across-the-board usage of our system within their organization. Corporate, Field, Store, and Department level users embrace the system and are open about the operational gains that they experience. We think Gartner’s ‘Positive’ rating is a validation of the momentum Reflexis is gaining in the market due to customer wins based upon our company’s focus on improving retail operations – not just deploying software.”
