Reflexis Implementation wins The Home Depot Retail Systems Achievement Award
NORWOOD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 12, 2006 – Reflexis Systems, the pioneer and leader in Retail Execution Management solutions, is pleased to announce that The Home Depot has won the 2006 Retail Systems Achievement Award in the “Best in IT/Business Alignment” category. The Best in IT/Business Alignment award is given to “a retailer or a consulting firm that has used innovative management or technology practices to successfully couple systems development in concert with new strategic directions.”
The world’s largest home improvement retailer implemented the RetailAction(TM) KPI Activator(TM) module to align metrics across the enterprise and focus stores on actions that drive significant operational gains.
A representative from The Home Depot accepted the award at the Eighth Annual Retail Systems Achievement Awards ceremony in Chicago during the Retail Systems 2006 show.
“This is the second year in a row our customers have been honored by their peers for implementing our product,” said Prashanth Palakurthi, Chairman and CEO of Reflexis. “It is rewarding to see that our culture of taking ownership for driving operational gains, not just technology deployments, has been recognized by the Industry.”
Arun Santhanam, Vice President of Engineering at Reflexis and technical lead for KPI Activator, added, “Existing Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing systems do a tremendous job of giving retailers ‘knowledge’ of the state of business. Our product transforms this knowledge into measurable action. Therefore, rather than treat metrics in a passive, reporting manner Retailers can now use the metrics information to systematize store tasks to do the right things at the right time. We are delighted that the industry has honored The Home Depot with this high-profile award. Our R&D and Engineering efforts will continue to remain focused on technologies that benefit our customers’ business in a significant manner.
” The Home Depot also uses RetailAction Manager(TM) and RetailAction StoreWalk(TM) to help execute its retail strategy throughout its chain of more than 2,000 stores.
The 2005 Retail Systems Achievement Award for Best in IT/Business Alignment, which went to a U.K.-based retailer, was also for a Retail Execution Management initiative with Reflexis.
