NRF 2019 in Review

Reflexis Blog

Reflexis is excited to wrap up another successful year at NRF 2019, Retail’s Big Show. With three days and thousands of retailers, exhibitors, and retail professionals, there’s a lot to take in at the show, so check out the highlights from Reflexis.
Expertise from Across the Industry
Hundreds of innovative retailers stopped by the Reflexis booth to share their insights into achieving retail success in 2019 and beyond. A key focus is on smart stores delivering a new standard of customer experience, supported by real-time planning and execution, optimized with AI-driven analytics and forecasting, and integrated with the latest IoT and mobile technology.
At the Retail Workfoce Management luncheon, hosted by Reflexis and IBM, Benny Velazquez, Product Manager for Workforce Management at Walgreens, discussed the process Walgreens went through to implement Reflexis Workforce Scheduler across their enterprise. Using a workforce management platform powered by retail-specific algorithms, Walgreens is now able to schedule to their business needs in real-time, factoring in the different skills and certifications needed across departments and ensuring compliance with all labor rules and regulations. With more efficient workforce management processes, Walgreens is able to reinvest in their staff, improving both employee and customer engagement.
Streamlining Retail in Real-Time
Retailers are solving their work problem in 2019 with comprehensive solutions to align workforce management processes with real-time store operation strategies, ensuring that the right people are working on the right tasks at the right time. The Reflexis ONE platform of native solutions for workforce scheduling, store execution, and advanced analytics is designed to simplify work in the modern retail landscape. While at NRF 2019, Reflexis met with over 150 retailers, announced new customer wins and implementations, and reported record growth in 2018. We remain dedicated to helping retailers simplify store operations, optimize labor spend, and unleash the power of their store associates in 2019.
New Product Availability
On display at the show were several new solutions, like QNotes, a mobile-first solution for real-time, peer-to-peer communications, and Document Repository, for best-practice document permissions, routing, and version control delivered via the cloud. Also featured were the cornerstones of the Reflexis ONE platform, Workforce Scheduler, which uses machine learning to drive best-practice labor schedules, and Real-Time Task Manager, which streamlines work for associates and empowers store and field managers to manage by exception with real-time alerts.
Networking, Socializing, Reconnecting
One of the highlights at NRF 2019 was the chance to network with peers, partners, and other retail professionals. Reflexis-hosted events included a Playoff Party in Time Square, presentations from customers on how they solve today’s retail challenges, a networking cocktail hour, and an executive dinner.
Reflexis collaborated with partners, including IBM, Connors Group, Nextenture, and SMG, to ensure maximum value for retailers at the show. We also announced a new partnership with Arm to enable retail store associates to obtain actionable tasks based on real-time IoT data.
If you missed out on the fun, stay tuned for other upcoming events from Reflexis.
