Mobile technology, from cell phones and texting to tablets and apps, has saturated our day-to-day lives. However, one area where there’s still a lot of discussion about the role of mobile tech is in retail. People are still trying to figure out the reach of mobile commerce and how to engage customers with this technology. As part of this discussion, it’s important not to overlook the impact that mobile solutions can have on your business operations, not just in how your customers use mobile devices, but also in how your employees can use mobile technology to do their jobs better.

Additionally, real-time, mobile store execution solutions make it easier for store managers to confirm that high-priority work is being completed on time. They can get real-time visibility into completion and compliance rates, and can follow up when needed.

Instead of running around, trying to figure out what they’re supposed to be working on, associates can gain immediate access to all tasks that they need to complete, and can focus on the most important task first. As a result, store associates work more efficiently, deliver better customer service, and are more engaged in what they’re doing.
