Global Connections: Virtual Reflexis Customer Event Brings Together International Retail Community

Each year, the Reflexis Customer Advisory Board Meetings bring customers together to share best practices and collaborate with both each other and the Reflexis team. The goal is to help foster connections within the industry and empower our customers to get the most out of their Reflexis solutions. Traditionally, these gatherings have been hosted regionally with in-person sessions, but in true 2020 fashion, the team quickly pivoted to successfully launch our first-ever digital, global Reflexis Connections Customer Event!

Over three weeks in October, hundreds of participants joined customer engagement and education seminars. Customers from EMEA, North America and Latin America had the opportunity to connect with one another. Over the course of the event, there were ample opportunities for attendees to network with retail peers and explore innovative ways to simplify store execution and optimize labor scheduling processes.

New and Next

To kick off Reflexis Connections, Reflexis CEO Prashanth Palakurthi and Zebra Chief Technology Officer Tom Bianculli​ shared updates about the Zebra acquisition and Zebra’s Retail Strategy and Roadmap. Key themes include ensuring that each frontline retail associate and asset is fully visible, connected, and optimally utilized.

Our solutions experts also offered attendees a sneak peek into what’s new Real-Time Task Manager v17, as well as sharing updates on the resources coming to support the transition to the new platform. The first week closed out with an interactive debate on strategies and best practices to grow associate engagement in the new year and beyond. 

Responding to Today’s Retail Challenges

In the second week of the event, attendees joined seminars focused on adapting to emerging operational challenges. Topics covered everything from how to get the most out of real-time notifications to how to manage re-openings and closings. Additional sessions offered perspective of on today’s labor challenges and leveraging Reflexis Workforce Scheduler to optimize labor spend in an ever-changing retail landscape.

Doing More with Retail Data

To wrap up the event, we hosted a training series on Advanced Analytics and Reporting, outlining ways for attendees to create useful, customized reports for their organizations. From guidelines for beginners just getting started to strategies for next level analysis, there was something for everyone, allowing all our users to create the reports and analyses needed to get more out of their Reflexis platform!
